For the first time, the Joseph Herbst Big Band presents a set of all standards. Originally arranged by Joseph for Rodney Whitaker, these standards come from Miles Davis's famous repertoire, yet are now reimagined in a modern light, at times clearly reminiscent of the original while being unafraid to stray far away into new territory. Songs include Budo, Capricorn, Dear Old Stockholm, Deception, Milestones, and The Sorcerer.
